From the drafters of the collection: Compilation of “150 favorite songs” made up of musical works or their fragments, belonging to the best that has been written by composers in the interval between the XVII century and the middle of XX century. This compilation makes it possible to trace all changes in musical forms that have occurred since the “Canon” Pahel Bel and ending with the Viennese operetta, the whole of Europe: from Spain to Hungary, from Italy to England and from France to Germany and Austria.

This collection belongs to the most extensive of all, ever published, and it can be regarded almost as a catalog of masterpieces of classical music. It is an excellent selection of well-known works, excerpts from the symphonies, quartets, sonatas, operas and ballets. Of course, not all collected here, is a simple piece: a series of works, such as “Country Gardens” P. Granger, “Serenade” by Franz Schubert, or “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Rimsky-Korsakov, presented entirely. However, aware of the limitations of this edition, we recorded those parts of the works, which they describe the best way and brought them fame. That is, for example, the popular “Theme of Love” from “Romeo and Juliet” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. High qualification of sound engineers and recording artists frees you from fear, that a piece broke in the most unexpected moment.
